The mother-of-pearl that decorates various wares with the shell which has bright light enhances the value of the product further with the natural high-quality color which cannot be expressed artificially.
Korea's mother-of-pearl craft, which has been developed over the millennium, is characterized by rich expressiveness and delicacy of handwork. Korea has excellent shell processing technology to make thick mother-of-pearl or thin mother-of-pearl from various shells, and the technique to cut out pattern is also excellent.
Korean mother-of-pearl is recognized worldwide with its natural color, long history, and outstanding technology.
